St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP)

The St Vincent de Paul Society has been active in the Sacred Heart Parish for many years. This is an international lay Christian organisation of men, women and young people working to help relieve suffering, whether this be loneliness, illness, homelessness or any other form of poverty.

In the Sacred Heart Parish we meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month with some slight variations when Bank holidays intervene. The meetings are held in the Elgar room of the Parish Hall at 7pm. We seek to help those in need in Droitwich and the surrounding area.

This is an opportunity to put our Christian faith into practice. We visit the sick and elderly, give lifts to church, hospital and doctors; and we also provide, where needed and where possible, donated goods to those who are in need. Please contact us to let us know of anyone who needs help.

For further information and enquiries about becoming a member of our group please contact us on 07772 927535 or  DroitwichReferrals@svp.org.uk or look on the national SVP web site www.svp.org.uk for information about SVP nationally.

We run a Bereavement Cafe and Bereavement journey course that is open to anyone who is bereaved.
